Prioritized support requests

Resolution of support requests

Resolved:

  • 6 Improvements : (CATS-1391CATS-1396CATS-1397CATS-1398CATS-1399CATS-1401)
  • 7 UI issues : (CATS-1356, CATS-1392, CATS-1393, CATS-1394, CATS-1395, CATS-1404, CATS-1405)
  • Fixed issues from the second release that failed PO validation
  • Deployed the second release (CATS-v.1.3.2) on the production server: We have successfully addressed all PO validation feedback on this release and was able to deploy the second release of CATS successfully.
The second release mainly contained improvement issues on workflow. 12 documents are now using the robust features of workflow which are add comment, attach file, track history of documents since their creation, and others... The addition of workflow on these documents will also help us prepare a summarized data entry report by user and date. The other major issue fixed was for the date picker of the SSRS reports to support user date preference. The 2012 SSRS doesn't support any localization feature. And this made it difficult to implement these issues but the team came up with a patch that would enable the SSRS reports to support user date preference.
Dashboard summarized reports were also included in these release. These also were developed using tables and charts that would summarize the report for the users and are also easy to use. Other issues were also fixed and validated by the PO. The back and forth in the validation process took a while as the release candidate contained 62 issues. But it was worth it as the resulting release was very stable and no issues are reported till now as a result of the new deployment.

JIRA Issue

The Team

Validation process taking a while. Currently, even though we

were able to deploy two releases containing 155 issues, we still

have the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th weekly releases pending, totally

accounting for 40 issues. So, we may need to act on these fast

before the release candidates pile up and become a problem.

Speed-up the validation process
