The following are key principles behind CATS overall design

  • No technology is be introduced to the stores (System is to focus on the hub office due to physical limitations and other constraints)
  • No technology is to be introduced at the FDP level
  • Preparation for, but not dependent upon changes to physical form design
  • Preparation for, but not dependent upon implementation of communication layer to/from FDP
