Annual Plan preparation
  • Draft plan is prepared based on the Program Implementation Manual (PIM) and is sent to regions before it is accepted as final for their review
  • We usually add 20% contingency to the total number
  • We calculate the total amount of cash/food required based on the wedge rate
  • The maximum duration of assistance is six months
HRD planning
  • EW uses different tools to come-up with the number of needy population such as market situation, LIAS, livelihood situation of the community etc.
  • LIAS spreadsheet is used to prepare and calculate needy population in the form of needs assessment record
  • EW conducts two types of assessments (annual and rapid)
  • Usually assessment is conducted every year in December and June
  • HRD is then prepared based on the total number of beneficiaries from the needs assessment table
